About

I’m a 24-year-old lady geek with a LOT of hobbies.

I’m a fantasy writer who tends to have three projects going at once. I spend hours constructing iTunes playlists for my writing time, scene-by-scene. I still pretend creating Sims based on my characters counts as “writing exercises.” I scribble in notebooks and on napkins at work and leave all my notes in a huge pile on top of my barely-used desktop from the Jurassic period.

I cross-stitch, crochet, knit, and mostly “geeky” things. I’m an active member of the Sprite Stitch forums, in addition to trying to be involved with various textile crafting organizations in my local area. I play piano pretty well, violin passably well, and guitar like a half-trained monkey. I don’t practice as much as I should, but I can only schedule so much hobbying into one day.

I play tabletop roleplaying games (Dungeons & Dragons, Deadlands, Pathfinder) pretty avidly. I enjoy video games a great deal, but I usually only play if the story is intriguing. We’re talking Assassin’s Creed, Uncharted, Alan Wake, Zelda… I could go on, but I won’t.

I’m an avid reader of novels and comic books. I love to swing-dance. I’m a decent cook but probably not nearly as good as my boyfriend would have you believe. Blackberry wine is one of my favorite things.

I want to share my stories and my work with anyone who is willing to try to appreciate them. If I can make some money off it while I’m at it, then great. If not? Well, I’m ready for adventure… and I’ll probably end up writing about it, too.
